What is dexterity for? Is it for ranged weapons or does it make you hit more often? I seem to be missing a **** of a lot with fully repaired weapon and high strength.

I was hoping to figure out what all the stats are. Especially Piety.

When you're at one of the Aetheryte things at the camps, if you go into the Aetheryte menu you can read a 'book'... I forget the name. All the stats are given in there and tells you what they do.

STR - attack power
VIT - physical defence
DEX - attack accuracy (would be physical... so melee and bows)
INT - magic attack power
MIND - magic defence
PIEty - magic accuracy.

I assumed they simplified the stats by combining agility and dexterity. Piety is the new charisma, and functions for just about everything non physical.

Is it just me, or does strength not affect ranged damage? That's how it seems for me on ranger.

Dex doesn't seem to have any effect on evasion, from my experience. Dump all my points in, the evasion stat doesn't even twitch and I still almost never parry or evade mobs even way below my level.
