So I havent played in about 36 hours and when i got on this morning I noticed something that wasnt happening before. I am crashing a lot, im not sure if its because I am trying a new profession and I am near the first camp(which is full of people) but I have started 2 leve quests and within 2-3 minutes I crash. I have crashed 3 times in about 10 minutes. I wonder what changed?

Also it kinda blows that you fail a leve when you crash. I know you dont fail if you do leves with a party and they dont crash but its almost 6 am here so not to many people looking for an english speaking party member.

Yeah I noticed much more crashing today too. My crashes usually occur during the leves or when I'm dead and I try to do return. I'd have to say 90% of my crashes come from that and not as I'm just traveling around the world or crafting.

Same here. I think I got more crashes after the last version update? Atleast getting a lot this morning.

I'm hoping they change "d/c during levequest means fail". Like keep the levequest running for 5-10 minutes. Give people a chance to reconnect.

Same and I have a feeling its because of the amount of people.. its getting awfully crowded and alot of lag. :( Maybe they need to buy better servers so our systems arent in overdrive sorting out their messy communication

Glad I'm not the only one. On Besaid last night I was trying to party and do some leves and I crashed probably 4 times within 2 hours. :(

yeah, I crashed during my last 3 guildleves. . . and then twice en route to the botanist guild. I then decided it was nap time and haven't had the nerve to log back in X)

Definitely.
I've been trying to take on the Rank 10~ leves, but they end up taking around 20 mins, and a few deaths but half the time I crash in the middle. Think I'll stick to the lower level ones that can be done in 2 minutes for now.

I was rocking some leves and getting fantastic EXP.. Not sure if it was a bug or something. I started in Grid, went to Ul'Dah and started the leves there. I was one-shotting everything and getting 700 EXP for each kill. I started the last leve and it was going to be about 10 or so enemies (lots of EXP, I'm thinking).. Then I crash.

So frustrating, haha.

But I don't think it has anything to do with the servers. You would randomly disconnect if it were the servers. There's something wrong with the actual game.

I never made it to Ul'Dah. A few seconds after entering the new zone i was killed by my first aggro mob, the Antling Digger.

So far, I've crashed twice--both when I was running around town. No big deal for me, though.

So is this still happening to alot of people? It is for me.
Random Crashing to desktop, win7 message encountered an error blah blah.
Last couple of days I also got an ingame error message about a server error.

Been running some hardware monitoring in the background since yesterday.Sure isn't my rig that's
the problem. All running cool enough,Heck, bearly using 25% of capability.

Would be nice if more of you would also post your rig specs.

I can tolerate this in beta, but better be resolved by release date.

I checked my action center because I had a message in the taskbar in the right side near the clock and... 21 ffxiv crashes lol. This is from the beginning of CB3 though.

I've been crashing a lot too. It's only been an issue in Gridania. I'm on Besaid right now so probably due to over population or my comp hates the forest :( 2 levequests are out the window now because of it.

I've lost out on several leves.Seems to happen most during them or at zone line to town, but not always.
I've been looking at alot of posted screen shots at work tonight. One thing I noticed in a majority
of them is the connectivity icon. Most of them are yellow, lol.
Mine goes back and forth from green to yellow alot.

I never needed it before, but think I'll see if port forwarding might help.

My ports are forwarded, things are running fine, NO crashes before the most recent update. But since the update, I've been crashing once every 10-ish minutes. I hate when developers send out broken updates but whatever, hopefully SE fixes it soon?

OK,did SE tweak something without a patch being implemented?
Logged on this morning before work and played for 3 hours without a single crash.../shocked!

Did a full compliment of leves(4 battle and 4 field) ;zoned in and outta town multiple times ; did the lvl 10+ part of the main city quest for LL.
Also did some grinding and went on a fairy ride to the main continent.

Hummmmm

The game only crashes on me, "randomly", when I am playing windowed.

Just an observation.
