so like i found this really cool new robe for my therma, but how in the heck do i equip it?
i can't figure out how to un equip old things much less equip a new one!
this game is like really to hard, they need to dumb it down where you
can actually do something without going through 2-5 clicks on stuff to make a change
i recently sold some stuff i had accumulated while grinding---another OMG momnet
took me longer to click through selling the items than it took me to kill the
mobs and get them.

i see all the 'don't complain it is still beta' threads but i seriously doubt
all thes crazy *** time consuming ways to do stuff are gonna change before launch.

i just wasted 35 minutes running all over town looking for a vendor who sold bows and arrows..
and i did't find one!

why does SE think harder = better?

you know how in town guilds are marked on the map with names?
why not mark vendors too? so i can open my map and look for 'bow seller dewd'
or 'mining supply guy'

jees i am trying sooooo hard to like this game but every time i logon and play by the
time i logoff i have a headache and i feel like i wasted the time i spent playing
cause it just ain't that fun, and MMO's are games, games should be fun not a exercise in
figuring out arcane stuff and searching endlessly for the next leve quests.

A guide would be nice that could point you in the right direction. Spent forever trying to find the "bow seller dewd" myself (I believe in Ul'Dah he was off by himself in a corner on the second floor >.>)

People ***** whenever anyone suggests some time of npc who could put marker/arrows on your map or something, but if it's either that or go look it up on a website then honestly what's the difference? I'd rather be able to stay in the game and get the info I need, or better yet organize the stuff in a way that makes some kind of logical sense so people aren't running around in circles.

Alot of the stores are all over the place at the moment, I'm pretty sure they will be reasigned to more apropriate locations for the release. the maps show the interiors of buildings you cant access as places you can walk, so i'm guessing there will be more stores in retail aswell

Don't have the game open in front of me but IIRC you do it from the equipment screen. From there I believe you select the are you want to change which should bring up your equipped items in your inventory. I think you can do it from the inventory as well by selecting the item.

In ul'dah, the guy who sells most of the weapons has a sword and shield icon on the map. Go figure. Equipment is changed the same way it is in every other game. Go to the equipment menu and just take stuff off/put stuff on.

Not realy sure since I can't patch to get the game working, but from the screen shots i've seen and info I've heard, it sounds more strait forward than you are makeing it.

go into your gear menu, select the piece you want to change, then select what you want to wear in that slot.

Mikhalia: and FWIW, my posts are 95% helpful, informative, or funny.
Mikhalia: only 5% or less of my posts are utter crap.
Tyapex: 393 posts of utter crap...
Mikhalia: Sounds about right.
