Does crafting difficulty increase with more crafts?Follow

I'm attempting to give every craft a try at the moment and, in my quest to make bronze chainmail, found I need to make a hempen tabard. So far in my weaving adventures, I've been able to make one hempen cloth out of around 12 attempts. In armorer and blacksmithing I've gotten around 90% success rate in my attempts, and those were the first two I started out with. Am I missing something here, or just extremely unlucky when it comes to weaving?
Also, I used a crafted bronze needle instead of the weathered, if that makes a difference.

Hempen cloth is probably just a higher level craft, no way to tell, just trial and error

I chose Halone, the Fury, as I was reading that effects from gods weren't yet implemented :\

Okay, this is getting ridiculous. I've made 2/15 attempts with hempen yarn, the very first.
If someone on Melmond is able to craft a hempen tabard, could you PM Khal Drogo? I'll pay as well as I can for it, just want to make this friggin' chainmail.

Well which weaver tool were you using? The main hand one or the offhand? I found my production of hempen cloth skyrocketed when I invested in a Maple Spinning Whell. Try it. Also since I started in LL, I went to the first camp and spent the 200gil to help boost my weaving skills while making the cloth.

Here's what I have found with skilling up crafting:

#1: ONLY do rapid synthesis. Rapid means that even if you fail, you don't lose much durability. Sometimes, even if you fail, you get more progress than you lose durability, so you almost always succeed even with a string of failures.

#2: There MIGHT be some benefit to letting the timer run down. I have found, in some cases, that if you wait until the timer bar gets close to zero, instead of getting more unstable each time, your reaction will stay stable longer. It doesn't always work though. It might depend on the kind of craft you're doing, and which tool you're using, I'm not sure. But most of the time, I can make anything of the appropriate level just by spamming rapid synthesis.

I have to agree. Rapid is nice and i hardly fail on stuff. If you're looking to HQ some thing though u might want to just stick with standard. Though I did manage to HQ (bronze rings +1) a few times and the quality was only around 70 when I was done. I was getting around 200xp per success. So, I don't really know how to judge if I'm getting to high for a item.

Try using your off-hand coupled with the buff at the camp site or the guild if you're in Uldah.

Try leveling up more too...I mean I know it should be obvious but that might the reason.

I honestly believe that the element harnessed and your stats (Mind in this case) are factors. Try reallocating your stats to mnd and your element to the crystals used in the craft.
