You want hardware mouse, you got it (kind of)Follow

#1 Sep 06 2010 at 6:22 PM Rating: Good
So, it turns out that hardware mouse support does exist, it's just not enabled-- for whatever reason.

I don't know about the Zam policy unofficial edits to a game in beta, so if this breaks a rule, feel free to delete.

A person here:
http://www.ffxiah.com/forum/topic/13698/ffxiv-mouse-lag-fix/

made a small patch that enables the hardware support. Read his post carefully though, and make sure you make a backup of your files beforehand!

I didn't see a thread on it and lots of people have been complaining about it, thought I'd give people a link, sorry for trying to be nice.

Don't worry about it dude :) That guy just has an extremely large e-peen.. he thinks his post account is actually worth something and therefore he is acting arrogant.. Tons of people over 7k + posts acts a lot like him.. walking around like they own the dam place.. just ignore them.. I appreciate you for reminding us that this patch exists :)

What's funny about this patch is there is an equivalent of 'EnableUnusableInterface(true);' in FFXIV, and I basically just changed it to false.

WOW and WOW big huge thanks for this link. The mouse thing is horrid why in all that is good and right would they subject their players to that is beyond my comprehension.

Many many thanks!
