I am not very knowledgeable regarding computers at all and am seeking some guidance. I thought I had a pretty good system, plays WoW at the highest settings with no problems. However, I just ran the benchmark and received an incredibly low score. My system has the following specs.

Windows Vista Home Premium
AMD Phenom(tm) 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs), - 2.5 GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT

I was really looking forward to this game, any suggestions? Does this game require some $3000 system to play it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recommend getting a beta key and trying it. You do not need a high end system to play although it can help.

A better video card would do wonders for you.

Oh wow, I didnt realize I had such an insufficient graphics card. I looked on the official website and it looks like my processor is up to snuff, but after reviewing that link my card apparently sucks (I had to scroll for awhile to find it, lol).

Is there a card you recommend that wont make my wife want to divorce me after she sees how much it costs?

I would just look at that benchmark link and look around Newegg or somewhere and find the best card you can afford. Make sure it will work with your computer (some of the newer beefy graphics cards might be too long for your case, for example).
You can also post in one of the computer advice threads for advice if you find one you want.

I have a 9500GT as well, and I'm running the beta just fine in windowed mode. That being said, a better graphics card would be a good idea. I usually go to Tiger Direct, personally. Also, I'd get at least 1 GB of RAM on that card. You're looking at around $100.

Beta keys ran out a long time ago.

EDIT: Just double checked, beta registration is open again. So, act quickly before it goes back down. >_>
