Ports used for actual gameFollow

I need to notify my ISP (monopolized university company) which ports I need forwarded to play this game. The open beta currently runs terribly. I'm lucky if I can even select a character before getting booted.

I know the updater uses:

UDP 55296 – 55551
TCP 54992 – 55551
TCP 80, 443

Would these be the same ports that the game uses, or are they completely different?

The game itself won't require port forwarding, same as ffxi. It'll need those ports open for outgoing requests, but it won't need any the other direction or it would be impossible to play the game on more than one computer on a network.

Well excuse my poor terminology. Ports open then.

The only instructions I see on the beta site are for setting up UPnP, which configures that sort of thing automatically. I'm guessing that probably wouldn't work on a university network, though, and I don't see anything there about the specific ports that are used.

In the config utility (in the Square Enix folder under windows start menu) you can select which port to use.
