Gamepads and Camera ZoomFollow

Greetings Zam! Hoping someone could help me with this. I purchased an Xbox controller for windows, so far its working great with the game and I haven't had any real problems.

One thing I can't seem to fix however is keeping the camera zoomed out while playing with the controller. I can zoom out with my mouse wheel but as soon as I move the camera with the controller it zooms right back in.

This isn't a big deal really, just curious if anyone using a controller found a way around this?

This is irritating. Zoom it out when I start combat, then soon as you move, bam! back to the zoom, sucks. Hopefully this will change in the retail.

I had this problem too, but to fix it, just keep pressing 'P' on the keyboard until fully zoomed out, then it'll stay that way with your controller! :D

This worked for me also. Check your config. too and just make sure your 3rd person view is set at max distance. I think it might be set max as default though.

yeah, don't use the mouse to zoom out. On my keyboard numpad9 is zoom in, numpad3 is out. I log in, zoom out with 3, and it generally stays there unless i get forced to zoom in from close quarters or something.
