A while ago I did a cheap upgrade of my comp believing it would be enough to run FFXIV. I can't say I agree with myself anymore.

Current Specs:

AMD Athlon II X2 245 OC to 3,2 GHZ
4gb RAM
HD Radeon 5670...

My question is if an upgrade to 5750 will give a noticeble upgrade in playing without giving me a bottneck effect??

I'm pleased with 25-35 FPS, and want to keep it pretty cheap, just wanna be able to play it decently until PS3 version arrives...

thanks to all that helps me =)

A good yet simple comparsion of Graphics Cards benchmarked using testing software is available here. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html

The higher the score the better. You're improving the PC somewhat but I dont know if the upgrade will be worth it for the cost.

If you want a good card that will run it well get an XFX 5770. I have one and it runs the game pretty well(in windowed mode of course).

This is the lowest card I would recommend for any PC Gaming right now.
