What would be a polite way to share leves? I'm looking for a short(ish) phrase to let people by the Aetheryte that I'd like to party for a while. that I have leves to do but would also like to use their leves. To me "anyone want to party to share leves" sounds good, but it doesn't convey that all members should contribute. any input would help. I'm new to MMOs so I'm not sure about etiquette.

"Anyone want to exchange leve quests?"

To me that says each person has leves to use. When in doubt, just ask if they any available leves. Being polite goes a long way in MMOs.

Exchange or possibly "pool", though I'm not sure how widespread that meaning of "pool" is among non-native speakers. Wouldn't want someone thinking maybe you wanted to do fishing leves or something. ;)

And yes, being polite will get you far. Sure, there'll be those who don't want anything to do with anyone (why do any MMO then?), but generally people will pay at least some attention to someone being polite. And in the process of people joining up to exchange/pool/whatever leves, maybe you all make some new friends. :D

This would be an ideal phrase for the Auto-Translator.

I think it will be something like (Battle Leve)(Party)(Looking for members.).

And everyone will know that you are expected to have at least 1 Leve per member to join.

I came to this thread expecting this question but didn't see it, so I may as well ask it while I'm here.

If two people have the same leve quest and one person starts theirs and they complete it, what happens? Is the second person able to start that same leve quest again?

The reason I ask is because some guy I was grouped with had the same leve quest as me. I started mine and we finished it. He said he couldn't activate his. I asked him if it had a check mark by it, but he said no.

I stated this in a thread a few days back but here is your explanation.

As explained in the two previous threads if person A gets leve X and person B get leve X as well, once either person activates it while in a party together both will complete it. At the end of the completion both members will get full rewards. That could be guild marks, some items, quoted amount of gil. Where as if person A gets leve X and person B get leve Y, there will be 2 leves for the both of you to do. With the completion of leve X only person A will get marks, items, and the quoted amount of gil, person B will get the completion bonus gil. The difference here person A will get 2000 + 300 completion gil for 2300. Person B will get only the 300. And then you repeat for person B's leve.

How confusing was that... LOL... but once you've done a few it will make since.

Not exactly on topic, but worth noting in case people weren't aware.

If you join a party mid-way though a leve, you can talk to an aetheryte to join the leve mid-way through. You can also do this if you DC in the middle of one, as long as you are in a party and someone else is still on it.

Also you could ask people

{Camp Skull Valley}{Guildleve}{Do you have it?}{Party?}
