There are only so many available per city for each of the 10 rank intervals. I believe Rank 1 battlecraft has four at a time, total? If you're a level 1 job you could also try doing the Battlecraft tutorial under "tutorial leves."

In the case that you only took six, those other two slots could be filled with Rank 10 leves should you have a class rank high enough, or Fieldcraft leves.

Once the 48 hour window passes, you'll have a fresh new batch of Rank 1 leves from which to choose.

No, you can redo them on your Conjurer in 48 hours though if you want. You can do 8 leaves every 48 hours on any one job.

Ic, so then it's not 8 per class it's 8 per type of leve??

As in I can do my 8 battle leves with however many classes that I choose. Then I can do field leves with botanist up to 8. Then I can do 8 craft leves?

Is that correct ?

No its 8 period. A total of 16: 8 Regional and 8 Local, no matter class, wait for 48 hours, redo leves, rinse and repeat...

Im confused on the leve system. Mine never seem to refresh.. Every time i go pick a new battle leve it asks me to exchange with another one but the are always greyed out and cannot be switched(maybe because i finished them?). Its been 2 days outside of the game and i still cant take any new ones -.-

Same here, I think '48 hrs.' in Square terms is 'Whenever we **** well choose', but I could be wrong. Is there a translator present?

Regional Levequests are basically for your DOW/DOM and DOL in that their goals lead you out and abroad. Local Levequests are crafting quests for Weavers, Goldsmiths, Blacksmiths, etc and provided you get the materials with the leve, you could sit down and finish them right there. Take note that not all provide materials off the bat and you must seek out a certain NPC to acquire the mats. Fortunately, in my experience, that NPC was always the one to turn the leve into as well.

Here's the simplest I can explain guildleves.

All NPCs in charge of guildleve distribution are on the same 48 hour window. You may pick up you eight leves, consisting of any combination of battle and field, at any time you like during this window.

As long as you complete or fail these leves prior to the next window opening, you may exchange them for new leves. Successful leves often will boost the rewards of you new leves.

This mean if you obtain and complete your leves one hour before the window, you only have to wait that hour. If you do it one hour after the window, you have to wait 47 hours.

Local leves, the crafting-based leves, are considered their own category and do not count toward the eight total limit for the battle and field combination.

While the Limsa Lominsa guildleve NPC may only offer you four battlecraft leves, you can still go to Ul'dah or Gridania and get more battlecraft should that be your desire.

New leves open every 10 ranks. So the "shortage" of battle or field is only noticble when first starting.
