So I was wondering, I am able to unequip and subsequently repair all my peices of armour apart from two,
one of them being a well-worn undersleeves and the other a well-worn braies(sp?)
Anyone able to help with this? will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

An NPC repairs gear in all 3 starter cities. He will bring your undies back to 75% even with them still on your back.

If you want to bring them to 100%, you'll have to get a weaver to make you another pair to switch into, as the game frowns on nudity.

He's a tall elezen standing between two stands in one of the two merchant wards in Limsa's case, if I recall correctly. The western-most ward, I think, but don't quote me on that.

Undergarments is where the "roleplaying" aspect should be taken out. Just make it have the same stats for every single starting class with no degradation. Or remove undergarments altogether and just say, "Hey, we don't want to show naked characters so you 'true roleplayers' will have to deal with it."

I agree with you here.

IMO the armor degradation is totally over the top. I could handle it happening a little bit but I've had the red sign on my comp so long I am moving my window around ever once in awhile so it doesn't burn into my monitor.

And it is stupid to make us have perma-undergarments but then make them degrade >.>

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

On second thought... That could potentially make for an incredible RP scenario. Think of it: Miqo'te lining up for miles to purchase pantsu from the single Weaver in town, a nefariously dirty-minded and diabolically crafty (mustachioed) Lalafell, who in return asks for...LOLLIPOPS BWAHAHAHAHA!!

Yeah the durability is a little out of control imo. I could've swore i lost durability just running from one place to another. I can understand a little bit of repair as it will take money etc out of the economy but not to the point where that icon is almost permanently there.
