1. Ok I know how to check a mob. So no telling me how. Here's my thing: I saw a ladybug. It had a blue dot. So I decided to attack it. I was Gladiator, so I put up my shield, Rampart, Defender and 57 VIT. Thru all that the lady bug still hits me for 107. Can someone explain why it's showing blue when it's clearly not? (No I wasn't in a party)

2. This one probably no one can answer, but when you're crafting what do the colors represent on the thing you're making. Or really what's the best move for each color? On red I just 'wait'.

3. Is there a way to configure party and linkshell chat like in XI? When combat stuff is scrolling by your LS and Party chat would stay at the top of the log while stuff would keep scrolling by. Made life 1000x's easier.

4. I took VIT from 15-50 and got a ton of HP from doing so. Now from 50-57 I didn't receive any HP. Can anyone confirm this with MND? (I'm guessing it's the stat that gives MP). Thinking there is something fishy about going past 50 in a stat.

My guess is either SE need to balance the mobs or we need to find out what mobs do :) And yes I had the same experience as you. Mob killed me, while it was tagged blue. Fun though. When I change my resists a bit, I could get the mob down, barely.

There are some posts about it already. Maybe it went down to page 2, there are all your answers.

As far as I know you can't. Will probably implemented soon. At least I can not imagine they keep the chat like it is now.

Did not experience this myself, but then again I don't have stats above 50 :p It could be either capped by your DoW class level or maybe capped because of OB. Maybe someone else could comment on this.

If it is true and there is no reason, it is lame :D but can't imagine this is on purpose.

To answer 3 there are chat settings from within the game. Just go to the menu and click on config, there should be a "Chat Filter" option. I'm not sure if it can be configured in there yet but I'm fairly certain at release it will be an option. As for now I can at least confirm that you can shut off battle spam in you "General" window.

As for 4 I'd assume that if this is true and not a bug then it's probably based on your physical level or job rank. They may have done it to keep people from putting every last point into a single stat.

Already checked the chat settings otherwise I wouldn't have asked the question. Didn't know if someone else knew some weird way to do it. I don't know.

Yeah I bet that's the case to question 4. Level 10 Gladiator can only have stats at 50. You can put more into the stat but I don't think it will effect anything. Can't say I put every stat into VIT though. I'm physical 16 so I have stats in most of them. Makes sense though. I wonder if Rank 9 Gladiator if stats cap for them at 45 or something?
