There's still untranslated text this close to release? I just got this from a main city quest:

"To let them know that we will be holding the 小祭り soon, and asking them to please come, should they like."

Hmm....

Yeah I've seen that several times around in the game already. ¯\(º_o)/¯ What can you expect?

I keep experiencing this during quests, usable items, and random messages

In LL quests it's not as bad, the other 2 cities were just added in Open Beta. Also that symbol that shows up with the color to tell you your armor needs repaired was added in Open Beta as well.

I think that means a "small festival..."

...maybe...

Not sure what the one in log is, but the icon with rain drops over body armor is your armor is damaged and needs repair, and the gold one with sword is your weapon.

It seems my underpants are damaged and I can't take them off to repair them. Can't repair the others either with NPC since it's a simple repair >.>

Anyone know how to fix my underpants? ><;

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

This...is...I fall prey to this bait by just posting a response which is deserved a more epic response than anything I can come up with.

On subject with OP,
I have had a weird status icon for the past two or three days and it looks like a house or a shield or something with a little circle on it perhaps. Mouse-over reveals jp text. is it possible this is the undergarments broken thing?

next example:
"I gather O-App of the 奇岩の聖域 has told you of the Hedge and how it works?"

It's definitely a beta and not a demo. I -highly- doubt square enix would let that slip past them for a commercial release.

This is SE we are talking about ^^; The same company that still can't let you:

  • ALT-Tab
  • Dynamically stretch the game window
  • Change your graphic settings from within the game.
  • Still using DirectX 9.0c. (next-gen MMO should use next-gen OS/directx imho :)

All this while 99% of the other mmo's let you change it. That said, I have 14 paid up for 3 pre-orders for the family and we are going to love it :) SE make's great games, they are just poor coders for windows.
