LOL Edy, Hall and Oates. They were the **** back in the 80's. Think it was Top Gun that made them popular with the song "You lost that lovin feelin"

Anyway as far as the FFXIV music. I listen to it for like the first 2 days then just turned on my Itunes and started listening to Metallica.

People have been quite flamey around here recently. I think that they've stopped trying to support their opinions and have just started reaching for the 'ratedown' button instead, since it doesn't stick an argument out there that they then have to actually defend.

I have been trying to rate up rated down posts that i see having no business being rated down. I am only 1 man though.

I like to use the ratings option myself. I will rate down if I think the person is being offensive or rude or being negative and ranting for the sake of it, however I rate up a lot more! When I see posts that make me laugh, make a valid point or have posted something worthwhile or helpful I will always rate up - When a post is excellent I will often choose that first to read. I think the rating system generally works well giving the reader the opportunity to give feedback and the community to decide and moderate itself in some way. I think if you rate down though you should give some feedback or explanation, if possible, regarding the reason why you rated because it helps to OP understand what they may have done wrong and make their posts better for the future!

That is what the karma system was intended for. I just wish most people would use it for that reason.

I think that makes two of us =D.

But I'm totally selfish to rate down: whites, men, majorities, funny jokes, administrators... or everything that remotely seems in the comfortable side of social acceptation.

I consider myself a bit of a Robin Hood of posting, tanking the Green arrows from the Sages and Gurus and giving them to the Under-rated.

Long live to people!

Ken

Yeah I think I'm taking a break for a while from these boards; its just too volatile. Too much of the same stuff etc.

(BTW I rated everyone up.)

See you on the flip!
