PS3 Contoller Drivers other than MotioninjoyFollow

Motioninjoy seems to be the popular drivers to use on this board for your ps3 controller, but having to restart my comp every time I unplug my controller is a bit annoying (have to restart my comp with the "ok to run unsigned drivers option" every time) and I am not comfortable with the having to have my security options on a minimum. So, I would like to find some drivers that are maybe signed and trusted by win7.

I have youtubed some different drivers that I could use, but my question is does anyone have any recommended drivers that they use and trust (free or not) other than motioninjoy?

edit: I guess it is worth mentioning that I did do a search on these forums and only found threads mentioning Motioninjoy.

I just said "***** it" to using a ps3 controller and bought a $15 logitech controller. No problems now.

You only need to install the drivers once after restarting in unsigned driver mode.

Once they are installed they are good to go the next time you restart and plug in (or connect through BT) your controller.

This is how it has worked with my system (Win7 x64) anyway...

don't need to restart computer, if its not reading after you replug the controller, close the ds3 tool, re-open it and reload the drivers. Also make sure your using the most up to date version.

edit: I mean close it entirely through task bar or task manager

Yeah I have tried all of that. Even after restarting the DS3 Tools program and reloading the drivers my ps3 controller still is not recognized unless I restart. I don't know, maybe I have some security option or something blocking the drivers.

I dug out my trusty PS2 controller with the Radio Shack USB adapter that I used for XI so long ago (surprised I actually still had it/could find it) and think I am just going to use it (its plug-n-play!). Its just that I find the PS3 controller more comfortable and lighter than the PS2.
