Hi All

Since starting ffxiv ive been able to run windowed with only a few errors.
But in full screen the whole pc crashes asfter a few mins if not sooner.

Just wondered if anyone else has this problem and has any pc parts simular to mine so i can try and narrow it down.

Unless its a know issue and is on the fix.

Thanks in advance

There's no way of knowing if it's a known error or if there's a fix on the way.

Most people play windowed mode because the game is spotty in fullscreen. That's all we can say :) You could try using the windower to simulate fullscreen (look for the thread, it should be on the first page of threads)

Thank you for reply , windower does work but alas the game still only uses one gpu core in this mode.

Lets hope it gets fixed.

Thx again

NP I use windowed mode but I'm hoping fullscreen mode gets fixed, along with multi-gpu users, so others can enjoy the game

Ditto. I'm looking forward to trying this game out. Maybe not as excited about it as I once was, but still looking forward to it, even if it is due to Diablo III nowhere near being releasable. I, and all of you, whether you know it or not, can only hope that SE has a secret, DirectX optimized version of the game lying around that they just aren't sharing with us yet. If not, strap yourselves in. I'm afraid we are all in for a bumpy ride...

EDIT: Although I did get a new issue of GI today and there is an article about Diablo III in it! This is good news indeed, that the magazines are now starting to focus their attention on it.

I take it she hasn't minimized yet (or should I say 'attempted to'?)

EDIT: Kind of ironic they would make leaving the game to get recipes a 'feature', but fail to optimize the code that allows you to do it. Guess they want us to log out first. Oh well, just adds more immersion to the crafting process. Besides, anything less and I'd feel the game was playing itself.
