Since SE confirmed stats do indeed effect DoH, anyone up for speculating what stats will effect each DoH? Also, do you think more than 1 stat will effect each DoH? Will elemental stats effect crafting with said shards?

The abilities may be a good place to start, though two have no stat abilities.

Alchemist:
Extrapolation - Temporarily increases influence of intelligence on craftsmanship.

Armorer:
Resolution - Temporarily increases influence of vitality on craftsmanship.

Blacksmith
Sublimation - Temporarily increases influence of strength on craftsmanship.

Carpenter (Has no stat-specific ability. It gets the below at the target level instead)
Comfort Zone - Temporarily reduces risk. Most effective for materials.

Culinarian
Devotion - Temporarily increases influence of piety on craftsmanship.

Goldsmith
Manipulation - Temporarily increases influence of dexterity on craftsmanship.

Leatherworker (Again, no stat specific, but allows some kind of dual-wield business)
Supplement - Temporarily employs the use of your off-hand tool. Most effective for finished items.

Weaver
Determination - Temporarily increases influence of mind on craftsmanship.

Yeah, if you're in beta you can see them for yourself by visiting the guild and browsing the abilities purchased with guildmarks.

If they do match up with those abilities it perfectly works out with my plans. I've been focusing on conjurer/thaumaturge and my main crafts have been alchemy, culinarian, & weaving.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I forsee people feeling pigeonholed into certain crafts based on their main class. That is, of course, unless we'll be able to more rapidly re-assign stats in the future.

Yeah time will tell on that. Most want an easier method of resetting stats anyway. And we don't know how significant having these stats are. If we use those abilities with the DoLs...it would suggest Piety & Dexterity for fishing but I have no issues fishing with my original dex, though i do have high piety. -shrugs- Another question would be if things are easier now in beta and stats will be more important in retail?

More <fun><excitement> figuring all this stuff out!

I kinda like the idea of pigeonholing. This will keep the no-lifers from pwing people with less time in ALL classes and letting people still feel somewhat special with their own class.

Aye, but there's no cross over from DoM/DoW to DoL/DoH.
