ATI HD 5700 series GPU
so, i decided to play with my new GPUs desplay settings and stuff, well stupid me, i decided to change the refresh rate.

well as soon as i did that, my screen turned black with a red box that says out of range even though i could here everything running in the background just fine, im sure that means the refresh rate is too high.

anyway, i uninstalled all of the programs and everything it came with, unplugged the GPU, plugged it back in, turned cp on and the GPU was working just fine, however, i no longer had the program to configure its display settings. I downloaded the program, and half way through the install of the program, it went back into that black out of range screen.

im at a loss as to what to do, i was hoping to run the GPUs configure program on my onboard GPU but it doesnt load.
i looked for configure files and everything.

i downloaded that new 10.9 cross fire driver right before i toggled with the refresh rate if that matters at all.
thanks for the help, hoping to get it back to normal by the 22nd

Make sure all traces of the driver/settings are uninstalled before reinstalling

this makes it easy

thanks for the responses guys ^^

ok so i uninstalled the ATI option under "programs and features" while i was on my onbaord GPU, turned off pc, reinstalled new GPU hoping it would work and tell me i need to install drivers like it did an hour ago, but it instead went straight to the black screen instead of asking for drivers even though i uninstalled stuff.

im seriously very sad.

running that Driversweeper program, looks like it found a bunch of ATI in my windows files
