A couple of month ago I mention concerning over payment option and I was let see, sidewindered upon. Anyway with the launch next week, I think it is a good time to talk about it. I originally have a paypal debit card but that doesn't support the Mastercard Securecode system. I contracted one of my local bank and ask about if their bank card/atm support securecode and they claim yes. So I sign up for their checking account since I already have a saving account there. However, when I finally got the card and look it up in the securecode site and the bank name is not listed, I talk to the bank and theyeems confuse as to what secure code is, I think they were th8inking about the cvv code.

Anyway, they left me in limbo here and I amn thinking about othet option. I heard about the cryta curreny that SE seems to want to push out but it is still not available and who know do they require the securecode as well.

Do you have access to any pre-paid credit cards? I use Netspend, and it uses secure code.

I know my walgreen have some, but not sure if that work. Is netspend free to order? If so, maybe I can order it first to see what happen with SE?

If i remember, it was like 20 bucks to get it. I've had mine for around 6 or 7 years now. Here is a https://www.netspend.com/" rel="external nofollow" title="https://www.netspend.com/">link to the site if you want to do some research on it.

SquareEnix mentioned that the SE member page will be undergoing a lot of changes around the 22nd, I have a feeling they are going to implement the crysta currency at release, so you will probably just be able to purchase several months worth at a time without securecode.

I'm really hoping this is the case because it's a little too close to launch to try and get a new credit card Smiley: lol fingers crossed!

All game-copy comes with 30days free, so i think you will have another month to settle payment. Hopefully Crysta will be available on 22nd, or before we need for our first payment, as it "should"(hopefully) solve most of our payment problem.

If SE requires vbv/msc for credit card payments, allowing you to get in the game without having to enter payment information would do a lot to smooth out the rush of people contacting SE to set up their payment issues, but most MMOs, even when they give you the first free month, want you to set up your payment information before you're allowed to use the service, free or not.

If that was the case, then too bad(for me as well due to securecode too), pray that miracle happens on 22nd update.

If they are intend to use Crysta as a form of monthly payment credit, i was just thinking "maybe" we do not need credit card information since some may choose to pay all by crysta, so i dont see the point to register credit card information too unless it is still required for purchasing crysta into that account, which seems to be using extra steps to achieve same payment.

I had this thought because the shop i had ordered CE from was saying something about "trying" to bringing in game/time card for FF14, so i assume that should be some sort of crysta value card, which should make game payment easier, than to take extra steps to pay by crysta while you can pay by your credit cards easily.
