Gamepad IssuesFollow

I seem to be having some sensitivity issues with my PS2 controller that is plugged in via a USB adapter. The sticks seem way too sensitive, in that if the analog stick is not 100% in the centered position my character or camera go moving off to the side. I'm talking millimeters here, I've never had a problem with this controller for any other game I've played. Should I change the "calibrate" number in the gamepad config?

Also I have another calibration related problem. When you hit Test Gamepad, everything should be centered in the middle when you're not touching anything. Most of the time it is, however sometimes when I go to check it, it's drastically off and I have to recalibrate everything and save it again. If anyone knows how to deal with either issue I would appreciate any tips. I want to have everything ready to go later in the week for launch =/
