I have read a few threads so I have an idea, just would like to make sure.

So should I redeem the code say today thus it will give me the actual code needed for the armbands which I then need to wait until release to enter or can I just get it felt with now ?

It doesn't seem you can redeem it yet. Most who have tried are told the code is invalid.

Yeah I believe that they will have it so you can register for the items later. My buddy was a little worried when he tried to register his code and kept getting invalid like Sephrick said that others have. I am still trying to manage to get one of my own.

Won't do you much good, the code in question was only issued with the initial production copies of the game. So, best bet, is to maybe find an used copy of the game, with an unused code.

Can anyone help me locate my code on SE's website? I registered FFXIII on their site, it gave me the key, but since I thought I could not use that key until I start FFXIV, I just closed the window.

The site said I could retrieve that key at anytime, but I cannot find it for the life of me on SE's stupid site! I have a confirmation e-mail from the registration, but the key is not in the email...it just reads like this:

Just go to Gamestop and check the used copy of FFXIII (PS3) on the wall. If there isn't a code inside, ask to look at all of the used FFXIII cases they have. This is what I did.

At least 75% of the copies they had contained the code I needed. They made me purchase a copy, but after I registered the code and received my FFXIV code, I took the game back to the store and returned it for a full refund less than 2 hours later.

You have 7 days at Gamestop to return a used game for a full refund.

Edit:

To get your key if you lost it, go to the member site then:

Go to Features.
Go to FFXIII.
Go to Bonus codes.
Go to Review Your PlayStation®3 Bonus Code and Bonus Details.

Done!

hey everyone,

really struggling with the 13 code registration. The SE members website for NA is completely different to the EU version. I have registered my code on the EU site, but im not convinced its the same thing as doesnt link to your SE account in the same way as the NA site does.

Ive tried registering the code on the new site (account management system site) and the code entry is 5 x 4digit boxes. whereas the 13 code is 19 chars (xxxxxx-xxx-xxxxxx-xxx)

any ideas!?

I had the same thing, it's confusing but...

After you registered the game code from XIII you should have gotten a e-mail with the XIV promotional code, atleast I got it in the mail after registering XIII at the EU site.

And I think you won't be able to register it yet, I tried and it said code invalid so I searched a bit and there's hundreds of other people getting the same code invalid message.

im pretty sure SE is going to make a promotional code section when you register your character or content id, there are too many codes to have it anywhere else and be less organized, this way theres no doubt that the content will be linked directly to your content id (like the mog satchels in ffxi)

also if you really want the gloves go to your local used game store and take a picture of the codes people leave behind in the cases, i went around and did that myself, put in 2 ff13 ps3 codes and got the ffxiv promo code lol

if you see a highlander running around in onion helm the armbands and the speed+ feet its probably me lol

I registered my FF13 copy back in March and got the email from SE thanking me for the registration. It contained the Bonus Item code which I used today on my SE Account page to get the Asuran Armguards.
Still there's no trace of the bonus item on my account or anywhere else.. I just got the confirmation page after putting in the code and that's it. Guess I'm gonna find out tomorrow!

But honestly I'm more interested in the FF11 perks.. I hope I got the link part right lol

Thanks, I saw your post!
Unfortunately I'll get my copy tomorrow (hopefully) so I can't access the Options List yet, as it requires you to register your FFXIV copy.
I can only wait for my copy of the game to arrive so I can check everything.
