I don't know if this has been posted before or not but I just noticed it myself.

http://jp.finalfantasyxiv.com/event/prelive/report_en.html

I believe the best thing I saw was this: "The following is a list of some of the things we have planned for the upcoming release:* Implementation of a hardware mouse feature"

Enjoy if it hasn't been posted before.

It has been posted before..the day of event actually--but I'm pretty sure a hardware mouse isn't the best thing they can do for this game. The best thing they can do is fix the interface lag.

I'm not sure which was the best personally because I didn't get into beta, but I heard a lot of people complaining about it, but my mistake :/. I haven't been up to date on all the info for the past few days.

It's kinda nice to see again because I went through it quickly before...caught some tidbits I missed earlier...

I didn't think the 48hr guildleve cooldown was so horrible, but the thought of being able to do even more of 'em is pretty sweet

Hardware mouse is only an issue for people with borderline computer specs. If you have recommended or better, like I do, you didn't even notice lag on the mouse.

Leves cooldown wasn't an problem but I would love to do more. Most exciting for me was anima recharges faster.

I was leading a linkshell with 9+ friends in it and teleporting everwhere to pearl people really dipped into my anima early on. After 5 days I was walking EVERYWHERE, which kinda sucks since you get 4 leves from 1 town, then need to get 4 more from another town to fill your 8 leve cap.

Not even close to true. Even at 60 fps, which is the most the game can do, the mouse was a serious hindrance. At any lower than that (which pretty much everybody will be at in cities and near aetheryte) it was pretty much unusable.

This was YOUR experience. Something lackign with your computer, I can PROMISE you, I and my girlfriend and 5 other friends had 0 mouse issues. I didn't even know there was an outcry about the mouse until I came here and saw it.

I had no mouse lag whatsoever. There is a different issue causing it than your 60 fps. I had 1 friend in the linkshell that had mouse issues.

I would have to be pretty drunk not to notice the mouse lag even at 60FPS, dunno what mouse you guys are using, maybe its cause I use a razer with 1000hz polling rate but I would imagine even with a generic mouse you would still notice it, unless you were running at 100FPS constant.

And I think making the UI extremely customizable would benefit them as well. I see no downside to that whatsoever.

Maybe he's just used to sluggish un-responsive cheap mice/mouses/meeces.

Ignore "Lou is cool", he has been like this in the FFXI forums for years. He never experiences any problems and any concerns other players have about the game is because they are doing it wrong, not a problem with the actual game itself.

Say what? Instead of responding to this troll bait, I'll just refer you to every previous post of mine. I'm pretty sure I'm one of the more helpful people from =10.
