I didn't like what I saw in beta at all. Most likely this has to do with the fatigue system, the guildleve cooldown, or SE not putting in an AH! I decided I needed the attention, so I am posting another thread despite there being dozens already. I even will use the same reasons, just restated in my own words. Heck, I probably could have just copied and pasted from one of the posts already here.

Even though I flat out say that I'm going to cancel my preorder, I'm going to take offense if someone responds to this bidding me good-bye. I don't want to insult people who genuinely like this game, but seriously people, are you just going to like a game I don't like just because it says "Final Fantasy" on it? I bet you liked Final Fantasy 13 as well, as only foolish fanboys would have liked playing 13.

Now here's why I don't want to play:
1. Thing that's missing. I mean, seriously, I can go into any game store and find any POS game and it will have this. I hate game developers that try new things, because trying new things is breaking away from the "it works" rut. I mean, obviously, if it ain't broken, don't fix it right? Just ignore that there were people that didn't like how this thing that's missing in beta was implemented in other games.

2. Game mechanic I don't like. The game developers should be catering to how people want to play, developing a system that would encourage people to play parts of the game they don't want to play before trying it. If I ever got into a D&D game and didn't get to play the way I got to, but had to follow the story outline my DM designed, I'd just throw a huge hissy fit and leave. Heck, I eat only junk food and drink only high sugar energy drinks because when I was younger I screamed so much about my parents trying to expand my palate that they finally caved and let me do as I wish.

3. ....
..
.
.

</sarcasm>
That was fun.

Well, goodbye <disparaging term />. <insult of your parentage and/or masculinity />, must be because <nonsensical reasoning />. Otherwise you'd like FF, people like you are why we have <global disaster />.

Okay, I suck at this. Need more practice, I guess.

TBH i think the people you want to agree with you have already left for pastures new, everyone else on the boards now are eagerly waiting on the game.
Well good luck take care.

I don't like people criticizing the game at all. Most likely this has to do with rampant fanboyism, my own insecurity with the state of the game, or an overwhelming fascination with all things Japanese! I decided I needed the attention, so I am posting another thread despite there being dozens already. I even will use the same reasons, just restated with my own "wit". Heck, I probably could have just copied and pasted from one of the other posts already here.

Even though I flat out say that FFXIV is the best game evar!, the best defense I can muster is a tepid "they'll probably fix it, eventually". I really want to insult people who don't like this game but am too passive-aggressive to admit it, but seriously people, are you just going to not like a game I like, especially when it says "Final Fantasy" on it? I bet you liked WoW as well, as only foolish fanboys would have liked playing WoW.

Now here's why you should buy 10 collector's editions:
1. Thing that's missing. I mean, seriously, I can go into any game store and find any successful game and it will have this. This obviously means it must be bad, because going with what's worked and is proven is for losers, even when it was in your last game. I mean, obviously, if it ain't broken, beat it with a hammer and call it "innovation" right? Just ignore that the majority of people are not masochists with rose-colored eye implants.

2. Game mechanic I don't like. The game developers should be dictating how people like to play, because people should feel privileged they were even allowed to pay money for this game in the first place. [blah DnD blah] [insert failed internet analogy].

3. I'd of gotten....
bored at this...
point..
too.

That was fun! Tomorrow is going to be soooooo interesting.

I love the game, I was being smart about everyone who posts the same threads about why they don't like the game.

It's sad that something like this even needs the </sarcasm> for people to catch on... but oh well. It's the internet, what was I expecting.

On that note:

Well, goodbye horsebird f*cker. You have sagging b*tch tits, must be because of all the self-********. Otherwise you'd like FF, people like you are why we have Hitler.

... that might have been too aggressive. Meh, Hi Gad. See ya in game in a week!

Uh oh, we hit Godwin's Law. Rather quickly too.

Edit: thought of this immediately after posting, but it's fitting seeing as I have numerical analysis in 1.5 hours: guess this thread had quadratic convergence to Godwin's Law. Yes, I went there, a math joke using an Internet joke on a joke thread. :)

Maybe it was a different Hitler. Like Adolf's brother Peter Hitler. (Would post a YouTube link or something, but they're all German-dubbed versions. Good episode though. See you all at the Boozenpuken.)
