while doing my CC info thought i'd try my armguard code. hey presto it worked.

Armguards on account before game is installed or registeredhttp://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/killerdogg/Armguards.jpg

Be sure if you do this prior to getting the game, to link your game code with your BETA account. not doing so will result in loosing your armguards and Beta Name and server

(you will recieve to options when entering your game code, link or add new)

here it all is finalized http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/killerdogg/Account.jpg

Looks good to me.. only concern is.. was that the Beta or Retail version of FFXIV that you have them registered.. If I'm not mistaken, we are going to have to add another service account for the actual Retail CD-Key. So in theory, if you register the armguards to the Beta account, you might not be able to register them to Retail, considering we're only supposed to be able to register the code once? This is all speculation of course..

I got an email back from SE earlier today concerning not being able to register the FF13 armguard code before, and it says we have to wait until the release. "The perks for FINAL FANTASY XIV and the use of the codes will not be available until the release of the title. We thank you for your further patience in this issue.

By the looks of the SE account page FFXIV link is Universal to people who played in the beta or not, once you get your copy you add your reg code also to your account, the beta account has been deleted (also heared people saying it wouldn't register before hand while the beta was available to play).

it's like 5pm in Japan right now, 7 hours until servers go online, so this is release day.

Where exactly did you enter the code? I entered my CC info tonight but I cant find any place to enter the code.

In the Add Service option I clicked options list on the FFXIV service and got:

"This service account cannot perform any actions regarding options.
If you would like to use options, please enter a registration code from a commercial copy of the software and apply it to this service account."

Did you get your copy of FFXIV and enter the registration code? If not where did you enter the code?

Hmm.. maybe its the difference between EU and NA account management sites?

I noticed your FFXIV service said "beta" and had "Windows" in it. Mine only says "FINAL FANTASY XIV"

Anyone using NA Account management site and was in the beta able to enter their FFXIII code?

Yep I did. it just shows that I can add a service account at the top which is for the actual game reg code I'm assuming. then in the active service accounts it shows "Final Fantasy XIV" with two optins. Options list and Cancel Service. i click options list and get the below:

"This service account cannot perform any actions regarding options.
If you would like to use options, please enter a registration code from a commercial copy of the software and apply it to this service account."

Yeah I went ahead and did mine when I started messing with the Click&Buy stuff. I went "Select Service" > clicked on the FFXIV Online logo>clicked the blue button that says "Add a service account" and entered the code there.(This works for all the bonus codes as well) Guess I'll have to worry about doing that linking deal or something once I get the actual game = P

Oh, that 4x4 one is to actually register the XIII game. You do that at the website it shows on the ticket, should be this...http://member.square-enix.com/na/

When you register it there you'll get the 5x4 code to register for XIV...

That screen shot says "Next date of billing Oct. 21." Does this mean SE isn't charging everyone on the same day like in XI and actually going from 30 days of when we start?
