will my new graf card run ff14 smoothlyFollow

i just got a ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB and was just woundering if anyone els has this card or no if it will run ff14 well

i have a 4850 1GB, i dont know how close the cards are but i can run in low to mid detail with no worries.

Should run it smooth in 720 but not 1080.

i found out my old graf card was a 4850 1GB as well and it ran ff14 kinda slow my mates bro had the 4850 512MB and his ran very smooth and what do you mean about the peanuts?

Smooth, chunky, peanut butter...forget it.

The card is better than minimum but its also dependent on your CPU and what you find acceptably smooth. Some people like it at a solid 60fps (extra creamy); anything lower than that and its not really 'smooth' anymore (chunky).

and yes, it depends also greatly on the relationship between your GPU and CPU - the better they both are - the smoother the game will run! but... keep in mind we only have the beta to go on at present - tomorrow we'll all know how the game is going to run on our machines!
