the first is a 5 mb boot patch and the 2nd is 423 mb game patch

So, using the official patcher that will be 5 hours for the boot patch and at least a day for the game >.>

I'll look forward to googling a link to the completed download =p

I got really frustrated in the Beta seeing 99.7% complete for 5 hours >.>

the client seems to be slow right now too.

Its been jumping up and down in speed since it started, anywhere from 20min to 8 hours to complete.

Im guessing more and more people are starting the download.

use a torrent system its already finishe din 15 minutes lol

Just downloaded it through torrent, where would I put it tomorrow once I install the game?

I think you may just drag the file over.

On the download there is a folder named 48eca647.

Also one in the torrent, replace the empty with the full.

Just guessing though?

im wanting to know where the file goes in the ffxiv folder once you have installed the game

Read my post in "Day 1 patch" on the main forums. it outlines all of where you put it. it's important that you go to the game folder in Documents or probably my documents if not Win 7 and don't go to the one under program files.

Just move the file. there may be other files in there you don't want to lose. .... So just move the dated patch file into the 48eca647 folder.
