I setup a system that automatically d/ls new patch torrents and uploads them to my webhost, then makes an RSS feed from them. This lets anyone setup their torrent client to automatically d/l new patches as they come out.
Here's the feed URL: http://www.second-generation.org/ffxiv/ffxivPatchTorrents.rss
You can also load this in IE or FF (no chrome it seems) and d/l the torrents as desired.
If you keep your torrent client open often, or you know there's going to be a patch coming and can keep it open that night, this can save you a ton of time come patch days. Your client will continue to check the RSS feed and d/l new links as they appear.
To setup utorrent: Options -> Show Category List -> Add RSS on the toolbar. Paste the link from above, and tell it to get every torrent published.
Public trackers are also automatically set in the torrent on my feed (if anyone notices difference sizes, this is why), which should help speed the d/ling process.
