What exactly is it we need to do to ensure our accounts are setup and ready to play tomorrow? I just bought 500 Crysta for some reason even though the first month is free. =p Is there anything specific we have to do in regards to billing, or do we just log into Account Management and enter the key from the Collector's Edition?

I'm curious about setting up and using UltimatePay myself. CaB is virtually out as an option for me so UP seems to be my only ticket, but I've never used it before.

Once you have an FFXIV service registered you can set up your account to autobill you for crysta I believe. I haven't gotten that far yet, however.

I'm just so happy I can use these stupid ultimate game cards because it means I don't have to borrow a credit card...

Well well well. This is interesting. When I decided to check the Add Crysta option and pick UltimatePay as my service, I used to PayPal tab and just used my PayPal account to do the transaction. I didn't need to use UltimatePay at all and the Crysta was credited to my account.

This payment mess is so **** confusing!

I just did it myself and realized the same thing. Why didn't they just say you could purchase Crysta from UG directly with Paypal /facepalm

Do I have to use Crysta? The site is pretty confusing. I signed up for the Click and Pay account and put in a credit card. So will it bill my card, or do I need to go buy Crysta using my Click and Pay account then use the Crysta to pay the monthly service fee? Can all of this sh*t not be automated? You would think they would make it much easier to take my money.

Why can't SE just accept credit cards? Whats with all of these lame 3rd party accounts for payment and why buy fake currency to pay for services? They aren't happy unless sh*t is muddled. I should not have to read threads on an independent forum to figure out how to setup payments.

Cancellation is not required

As a user, you are not required to cancel expressly, since you incur no charges or other obligations to ClickandBuy. All you need to do is simply stop using the system.

If you want to cancel your membership, just send us an email, indicating your customer number.

service@us.clickandbuy.com

You will then receive a confirmation of your cancellation via email.

Please note: After cancellation, you will have to completely reregister to be able to make purchases through ClickandBuy. Your old account cannot be reactivated. It will not be possible to use your old user name (usually your email address) again if you reregister, since it will remain blocked after a cancellation. For this reason, we recommend that you simply stop using your ClickandBuy account rather than canceling it. We hope we will be able to convince you to use our service again at some later date.

Please direct any praise or criticism to service@us.clickandbuy.com.

They actually blocked my account this morning mere hours after I registered because I didn't verify my bank account immediately (and fraud detection set off by CaB caused my CC to lock too, that was fun). I was initially against using Crysta, but I'd rather "waste" a little extra money than deal with CaB another second.

Actually I have a few problem with this UltimatePay. The story is, I'm in Australia, so my region becomes Europe - Other, and in my account management although there is instruction on how to buy Crysta with UGC, there is NO option to recharge Crysta. I believe UGC is not supported for my region (any fellow Aussie can confirm?). If I had known this I wouldn't have bought a $20 UGC from Playspan. In the end I verify my CC with CaB and it went through smoothly, but the $20 UGC now is sitting there (electronically).

yeah you can't set up payments for a service you haven't registered yet.

Cool, thanks for the info! Even though I can just let it sit there, I still don't feel comfortable having my credit card information out there on some site that I won't be using....So I might just cancel it later, especially after seeing what you went through...

Well lucky for you, you didn't buy the UGC from Playspan. I bought it from Playspan, and now it can't do anything :/ At least I'm able to play it now thanks to having no problem with CaB.

Hmm the only thing I did was to go the UltimatePay site and registered. Just giving them my email address and deciding on a password.

Then on my SE account I clicked the "add Crysta" button. I selected UltimatePay and it let me pick a paymethod. it asked for specifik data like address and then it let me use my own paymethod and I was done.

The first time I bought 500 Crysta and UltimatePay charged 5,35 euro ish
The second time I bought 1000 Crysta and UltimatePay charged 10,35 euro ish

I got 2 mails each time:

SE saying I bought for 5 / 10 euros of Crysta.
UltimatePay saying I bought 500/1000 of Crysta (guess hiding the 0,35 charge unless my bank charged me for using their online services)
