Making this thread so people can post there FPS along with their CPU GPU and MB

This will give a better understanding on what is really needed to play FFXIV
with nice results. I believe benchmarks and beta are a rough estimate. Real
time release play is the ultimate factor. Honest feed back will benefit us all.

Post your crazy specs and results!

I've owned Fraps for a couple years now, I've always been happy with it.

This Post is to measure how different peoples CPU, GPU and MB variety's measure in the actual game not beta or benchmark. People list there specs and frame-rates and it will give a better understanding on what is needed to play FFXIV nicely. Gawd i hate repeating myself...

Uhhh... did you actually read the question? Your answer seems to not apply. He just asked what program you use to measure framerate in the game.

CPU: Intel Core I5 750 (Quad-core)
GPU: ATI Radeon 5850
MB: ASUS P7P55D Pro
Memory: 4 Gig DDR3

Benchmark - High setting - 3928
Benchmark - Low setting - 5189

During the Open Beta , I usually got a rock-steady 60fps in most areas. I believe the game is frame-limited to 60fps max. Drops a bit in crowded areas like the camps around the crystals but I don't think it ever got below 40fps at the worst. Even while doing quests with a party and fighting mobs my FPS stayed right around 60.

my FPS in crowded areas hits 20fps while in open areas =44 fps

hows your FPS/Lag in crowded areas and open ares
