First of all: It's so **** ****!

I want to gather some important information in it so I can use it as a handy tool during my days in Eorzea.

What kind of info would be most important and best suited to use this precious journal for.
I don't want to leave it unused in some pile where I only look at it once a year it's way too pretty for that.

What are your plans for this illustrated piece of goodness?

1) Put it back in the box so it doesn't get wrecked.
2) Regret not doing anything with it 2 years later.
3) Take it out of the box and look at the pretty pictures.
4) Repeat from step 1.

I'm thinking of writing drafts on my computer as if it were my character was keeping a journal, then when I'm happy with it I'll write it in the actual journal.

I was thinking of using it for recipes too. That would be handy information to have easily accessible.

Any other ideas?

I'll probably use it to write down maybe an imporatant NPC location or maybe to write down materials for a recipe. So basically I'll just use it as a reference for important things I want to remember without having to search online.

I will use it to write down my CD key and FFXIV related password.

I still have the original FFXI game manual that comes with the box...still in good condition after all these years and are now fond memory keepsakes.
