Anyone else have a problem trying to use their debit card in Account management? I know this card works, I literally just used it 5 minutes ago to buy this game from Gamestop and I use this card online all the time. The message I get is "Unfortunately the credit card details that have been entered are not valid, please check the credit card number and expiry date or alternately use another card. Please note that your credit card's billing address needs to correspond with the country you have chosen for your registration. "

The only thing I can think of is that it doesn't like how I'm typing in my address.. but I don't really see how I could ***** that up. Anyone else having a problem with this?

I'm sorry I can't help you directly with this problem but I think I might be getting the same thing happen to me and was worried about it too!

When I had to tell SE my country I put UK, because I didnt see there was a second page indicating other countires and I am from the UK even though I dont reside there (my credit card is not UK either).

Does anyone know what you have to do to change your country of residense? Does it mean creating a new SE account, therefore rendering your old one worthless? Also I assume I will have to create a new email address for this as it will probably show the old one being used.....

Well when I click on "Account information" it says United States (which is correct). I don't know.. I'm absolutely stumped. Guess I'll try my girlfriends debit card later today when she gets home. That sucks, though.

I thought I heard somewhere that for now you could only use their "Crystas" for payment of the account. Somewhere it said this and that they would be adding the use of credit/debit cards later. So apparently you have to somehow buy some Crysta and then use it to be your source of payment, even though the first month is supposed to be free. Looks to me like a way for them to get people to buy Crysta, because once the real game starts and you can then use a card, you'll have how ever much worth of crysta left to spend. Seems like a sneaky way for them to get people to put money on Crysta (whatever the heck that is - I haven't even seen how to get it yet.)

You can use Crysta, assuming it's available in your country, or credit through ClickandBuy. The signup for clickandbuy is in the account services page. Now my question is, is that a straight debit card or a check card, while both work as debit, a straight debit card won't work as credit like a check card will.

Just use Crysta anyhow, alot of people have problems with C&B. Crysta is a lot less convoluted.
