So i downloaded the Motioninjoy drivers for the ps3 controller and the axis and buttons work in the control panel menu but when i open the Gamepad ffxiv options none of the controls respond.

Anyone who has this working for Windows XP, can you share what you did? I've been at this for an hour+

Might be a silly question, but it's all I can think of...

Did you change the 'Active Gamepad' dropdown menu at the top to indicate the 4 axis 16 button joystick in the config menu?

So i got the buttons working but the character + camera moving axis still wont work in the FFXIV config. If i install the drivers then nothing works in the FFXIV config even though it sees the PS3 controller as a gamepad.

I've never been able to get my PS3 controller to work with my computer, those motion drivers don't work for me for some reason. I might try it again, I'm using a wired ps2 controller for now, but the wire is irritating.

Not to mention you have to disable security in windows to use the PS3 drivers, too risky for my taste.

I'm thinking of getting one of the logitech gamepads that are shapped like the PS controllers, but haven't taken the jump yet.
