Yesterday was pretty smooth, and most of this morning...but the last two hours were brutal...Glitches, massive lag on both battle and map and harvesting...hopefully a server reset will bring things back to normal...

I expect it'll be good for a couple of hours, but then it becomes NA primetime and the heavy populated servers will likely lag again. I hope not, but we'll see.

Never had any lag really, or serious glitches, at any given time. Hopefully though servers are not at maximum capacity yet. I mean, the headstart has just begun, there's going to come a lot more people every day from now on, flooding the servers. It sure felt much more populated today than it did yesterday (at least in the fields, tons of people on the roads and fighting stuff too). Wonder what it will be like on official launch day and the days after...

Some servers are quite bad and character creation has been disabled on them. On Selbina there is a good 2-4 second delay on virtually everything you do.

Yeah Selbina was brutal those last 2 hours before maintenance. It took a solid minute or more after initiating a guildleve before the music changed and the guildleve actually started. Good stuff...

no real problems on Rab.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

Since I was repeating a Leve I did the other day and knew where it was, I actually arrived there before the Leve began -.-

As much as I dislike Queues, they have their purposes and can be helpful during MMO launches. I kind of wish the overpopulated servers would have them just for awhile until their hardware is upgraded.

Besaid was melting down last night during primetime. Party members couldn't attack each others' targets, party invites took 15-30 seconds to actually arrive, and I actually finished a leve and ran from Camp Black Brush to Ul'Dah before it told me I was no longer bound for duty.

And yet it was still the smoothest MMO launch I've seen.

Yeah, I've sworn off guildleves until things actually calm down or the servers get an upgrade. I failed two of them simply because of lag mob glitches.
