Same. Most issues are from people's routers I believe.

For the 1,000,000th time, PORT FORWARDING. You claim to use uTorrent, you should know how it works. I and many other people downloaded the 400~MB patch yesterday in around 10 minutes, this one only took about 3 minutes. Eventually after this game has been out after awhile, RMT or people with bad intentions are going to start uploading dirty patches to infect PCs. You may also need to add an exception in your Windows Firewall, or just turn it off for a couple of minutes while you patch.

uTorrent I have correctly configured. I was unsure on my new router on how to port forward as several different fields to be filled, on my previous router it was just UDP/TCP, Port number, descrip. Sorry for aparent ignorance

Well all i know is i know computers/routers enough to do what i need to do. This INCLUDES running in DMZ mode. Nothing has worked for me. Only the small patches do i use the patcher for. Otherwise its Utorrent all the way.

Oh and just to add, I wasn't using a downloaded torrent, I was simply opening the updater and loading it from the FFXIV folder in uTorrent and then replacing the previous one. This works alright for me, and it's not downloading external user-submitted torrents
