Torrent files are found in

C:\Users\<NAME>\Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv <- Vista/7
C:\Documents and Settings\<NAME>\My Documents\My Games\FINAL FANTASY XIV\downloads\ffxiv <- XP

There will be a couple folders with hex filenames, go into each and check the metadata folders for the torrent of the patch you are having trouble downloading.

I tried plugging this into google translate but it's just not going through.

What?

The torrent files are in the exact same location they were in back during the open beta, close beta, and alpha. The only difference is that the folder in My Games got renamed from 'FINAL FANTASY XIV Beta Version' to 'FINAL FANTASY XIV'.

Just open the torrent where it is. Note: 'metadata' is essentially 'data about the data', meaning a file containing information on where and how to download the actual patch file, aka a torrent.

Now with pictures. Torrents are in metadata, save the patch files into patch. When it's complete, run FFXIV again and the patch will be applied.
