Alright, I've hunted down as many forums as I humanly can, and before I just download half a dozen programs that *MIGHT* fix the problem, I'm hoping yall can help me identify the problem (and hopefully suggest a solution, I'm at my wit's end here). I put in the disc, it allowed me to install. I double click on the FFXIV icon, and it gives me the "stopped working" message. As some other threads suggested, I changed the compatibility to vista service pack 2 (I'm on a windows 7 64 bit). Still nothing. Benchmark wouldn't run either. It might be my system specs are not up to par, but I'll admit, I have no idea if something ### meets the something #### prerequisite stated on the box. So i'll just post my system specs here and pray that yall can spot the issue ; ;

BTW: I got these specs from the FFXIV configuration system information section

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64 bit (build 7600)
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300@ 2.60 GHz
Memory: Better be enough, only thing I got on this is SC2 and Norton >.> but here are the numbers regardless
Physical Memory: 4085.180 MB Virtual Memory: 2047.875 MB Page File: 8168.504 MB
Storage: C:\ free space: 522.560 GB
D:\ free space: 2.156 GB
DirectX Version: 11 (Though it did make me DL version 9)
Graphic Device: Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family
Sound Device: None, but I intended to use a headset. Plz tell me if this is an issue ><

Okay, i think thats all I need to write down. If I left out something crucial, say so and i'll hunt it down... Appreciate any and all help. Thank ya

It looks like your trying to play with integrated intel graphics.

Lemme guess, this is your laptop? If so your SOL, if not then you need to buy a PCIE graphics card and install it in your computer.

This game will not run on intel graphics, **** it barely runs on a $200 video card.

Actually this is an HP desk top, model s5220y if that means anything. So it was the graphics huh. Managed to get Star Craft 2 running, albiet at the lowest possible settings, so i thought that wouldn't be the issue. Alright, I'll look into getting a video card: Based on my specs, is there a recommended card, reasonibly priced? Also, do you see any other issues? I would hate to put down 300 or so dollars on a new graphics card and still have the dern thing not run. Thanks again
