So... can you not get there from Blackbrush? I ran around everywhere. Do you have to go through Nanawa mines? I don't see an exit up there. Maybe only from Mor Dhona?

I just came on here to ask that same question - I'm doing the levequest for Goldsmithing and I cannot find a way there. I went to the mines as well, and unfortunately, cannot get past this one room with aggro to get all the way on the other side and see if there is an exit.

I then have another Goldsmithing levequest where it's asking me to turn my supplies into Vanicie (Camp Broken Water), and when you get to that really narrow path, I keep getting aggro by buzzards. So, I started looking up in sky for them (like UFOs lol) and there was no enemy on my radar when, all of a sudden, one just starts attacking me.

It's irritating as I want to turn in these two leves.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I just asked around at Camp, and while noone there knew, one said he HAD made it there through Mor Dhona, so it looks like that might be it.

Follow the line I've drawn. Where it seems I take you off the terrain, there's a tunnel that will pass you over to the other section of the map. From there, head north and beware the Scout Vultures. They'll take interest in you and occasionally will one-shot you (I was Rank 10/PL15).

I dont not have premium account so i cannot post a pic of the route.

However, i can give instruction to how you get to the upper portion of Thanalan
If you were to run straight N on the main road from the Northern exit of Uldah eventually it will end and split W and E.
Dont turn but instead continue directly N off the paved road. There will be a ramped area towards the middle of the map..
If you go up that ramped area and to the W there will be a cavern that is not shown on the map that leads to the next section of Thanalan.

From there you can run N towards Bluefog.... however there are birds in that area that use to one-shot me (2800 dmg) in beta when I was attempting to get the bluefog. I have not attempted to run this route again since retail.

EDIT - DOH! looks like Seph beat me to it and also with a pic.... LOL well glad you found it atleast

Getting to both Bluefog and Broken Water takes a little bit of Metal Gear skills to avoid aggro. Take your time, step carefully and watch where the mobs are and you should be able to get through with no problems.

For Broken Water, there does seem to be a problem with mobs popping up after you've gone into the area a little ways. The first few times I went into the canyon, I went to the right, and died promptly to buzzards. I then went to the left, and waited for the mobs to show up, and I was able to get through a-ok.

I still miss sneak though. :(

One thing I'd like to add - while the Vultures will own you and I found that out the hard way - I was not sure about the Billygoats and Cockatrices.

They don't aggro - but I only tested it once I had grabbed the camp and turned in my Local Levequest there. I spent awhile dodging them so figured I'd mention in case people were not sure.

I can confirm that they def dont agro - once I had touched the crystal I ran around in front and behind both mobs trying to incite violence from them - nothing, so they cool and dont agro you. However go slightly north and practically everything else does ^^

Has anyone managed to get there on a low (Rank 5) level.

All ways I've tried are blocked by Vultures, which aggro and one-shot me for 2000 hp.

It's strange a Rank 1 leve would ask us to deliver here?

It's a test of both bravery and running skills.. I made it through there half a dozen times no problem... I've also made only half way through there half a dozen times as well..

I made it at rank 4, but not on my first attempt. Use your minimap to plan a rotue as you're going. If you can make it to the relatively open area with a small water feature (it shows on your map, about halfway to Bluefog) you've pretty much made it. At that point many of the mobs are no longer vultures and no longer agro.
