I have a hp dv9000 with an i7 and Ati Radeon card.

Speed fan is sasying that my cores are about 95C after running FFXIV for about 15 minutes. Does anybody else have this laptop or this problem?

Is this too hot for a laptop? I know laptop cpus are more resilient to heat, but how much.

HP laptop is very bad with cooling system and no, 95c with a i7 is kind of common as i see it often from a acer with 97c or even a HP envy to 115

You sure that's the CPU and not the GPU? I've never had my laptop CPU go over the low 70s under full load, but I regularly sit at 90 C under load on my GPU. If it's your CPU hitting those temps then yeah something is probably wrong.
