Constantly repairing underwearFollow

It's starting to get old. Is there a fatigue factor for armor wear I don't know about? When I stated the game it didn't seem bad. Now I'm getting the repair icon 15 minutes after I had the NPC fix my gear. I've been crafting and harvesting in my underwear to limit the gear that's getting worn, but it is taking shorter and shorter amount of time before I get that annoying "go back to town and fix your gear" macro.

Maybe gear wears faster the more you repair it? Maybe I should change my underwear? Anyone else dealing with this?

Yeah I noticed my underwear is degrading super fast. I don't know what's happening but armor degrades slowly overtime without use. Underwear especially apparently.

If the NPC repairs your armor, it only repairs it up to 75%. If you do the repairs yourself, it will repair up to 100%.

Once the armor hits like 70-74%, it tells you again that you need to repair. So to avoid the annoying messages for longer, repair your own gear, or have a crafter friend do it.

There are NPCs that sell underwear now, there's one in Ul'dah (forget the name) that sells undergarments for male/female Hyur and Lalafell. In beta they sold different types of clothing and if I recall correctly, the NPC is in the market area just outside the Adventurer's Guild in their own stall. The price escapes me but it was around 700 some gil for each piece of equipment. Funny thing too is they say "well-worn" in their names indicating you're buying the underwear someone else has already been wearing. Why make your own skid marks when you can buy some gently used underwear, free skid marks included?!

This was happening to me too while I crafted and gathered in nothing but my underwear.

Once I equipped all the rest of my gear, they didn't degrade anywhere near as fast as they did before. Maybe the gear degradation gets spread out among everything you're wearing. I dunno for sure, but just guessing based on what I've seen. Been crafting and fighting mobs all day and my underwear hasn't needed repairing since I last did it yesterday.

Are we talking about the possibility of a hidden "degrade" stat? I don't like the sound of this.

Well I don;t get it, since FFXIV spoof a number of stuff already, why we have not see a victorias secret spoof yet.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves right now other than no sort option for my inventory. Don't get me wrong I understand the reasoning behind repairing but having to unequip stuff to fix it sucks. Which is a main reason to make new undies, its just that even @ 10 weaving I'm struggling to make a halftop for my miquote when I can make a whole cowl robe... finer stitching maybe?
