Way to see Levequest timer ?Follow

Is there any way in game to see when the Levequest timer is going to be reset - i.e. you can get new Levequests? Maybe like an NPC you talk to somewhere in the city or something like that?

I guess the next best thing is if anyone knows of a website that keeps a running timer for stuff like that.

Thanks.

I actually just posted and asked this on Android Market this morning. Send feedback!

How funny - I did the same thing not 3 hours ago through the feedback menu on Android.

I would have thought this would have been a huge priortity request for most players - but I guess not...?

We'll actually be putting a timer up on the site here in the next few days.

To answer your question, RE: the android app having a levequest reset timer, I just put it in the donation version. It's an hour off from the swagger site's timer, so I'm assuming they're right and I'm wrong, but I don't have the game yet, so it could just be a timezone issue. Could someone please confirm this for me? My app has it resetting next at 7AM Central time, tomorrow, the 29th. Is this correct? Thanks :D

Anyway, the countdown will be in the free version in a few days, but if you have the app, you know that I push new features to the paid version a few days earlier as a "thank you" to the people who bought the paid app.

So if you have the paid version, update the app! If you have the free version, wait a few days, then update the app :D

My son has a G15 keyboard and has the app for that showing the Levequest reset time and countdown. Maybe I need to upgrade my keyboard and while I'm at it swap graphics cards with him.

Levequests reset at 12 GMT (which is 7 CDT). So they reset last night at Midnight GMT (7PM CDT) and will reset at Noon GMT tomorrow (7AM CDT), continue the cycle every 36 hours. This pattern has been consistent through all the server maintenance and resets, so I'm assuming it's linked to GMT rather than server startup time.

Thanks, rlunt. That's what I'd assumed. So I take back all that stuff about mine being wrong. Woo.

We based ours off of the Levequest timer resetting at 9AM/9PM Eastern Standard Time. I could've sworn I checked at 8:30 and saw that they hadn't yet reset, I'll do a double check tonight, and if it really is an hour off I'll edit ours to reflect that, for all the people who don't have a droid phone. We'll have a mobile version up soon for anyone with a mobile phone with a browser. (Who doesn't feel like, or who's phone can't handle loading our Wordpress page.)

Is the timer wrong? From what rlunt said, it should be correct. If it is, can you tell me what it is saying, and what it should be at? Also, which time zone are you in, and which model of Droid are you using?

There is a widget--Just long press on your home screen, and select "Widgets". Eorzea Clock should be on the list. Then it'll ask you whether you want Vana'diel or Eorzea time. As a note, you are able to have multiple copies of the widget on your homescreen, with one displaying Vana'diel time and the other displaying Eorzea time. To do that, all you have to do is add another one to the desktop--it will ask each time.

Oh, and if you have any problems, just send an email to me using the Market. Just look up the app, and use the "contact the developer" thing on there.

~ Just downloaded this app about an hour ago. Very nice so far, love the widget. I cant wait to have a Leve Timer on it though, thats my main purpose for installing. Any idea when the free version is to expect it? I'll gladly make sure donations are made when it holds a few more features =)

I will be adding some features to the paid version before the weekend is over! Once I add them to the donation version I'll transfer the features that are in the paid app now into the free version.

I'm pretty sure it is based on JP time, but JP time is exactly 12 hours offset from GMT, it is easy to get confused, It doesn't really matter though, if you find the right time in any time zone, it is easy enough to extrapolate from there.

Sorry I missed your post. With all the people asking for features that are already in the app (or will be soon), maybe I should have a mailing list or something! I guess now you know the answers you wanted anyway... :D

No you misunderstand, I meant I would have looked into buying it a week ago. I wasn't mad you didn't reply :) I fully support what you and Wint have done. I will be showing it with the paid version!

Go to any atheyte or whatever they are called and go down to the guardians aspect one. In your message box it will tell you when the next time you can gain more guardians aspect....which is the next time your levequests will reset. FYI they reset every 36 hours.

First, this thread was 2 weeks old.
Second, that's incorrect information. You gain 10 guardian's favor every 12 hours, not every 36.

Unless you're talking about a different crystal than the Aetheryte, this is also wrong. Viewing faction standing just tells you how much faction you have with the 3 factions (Shields, Horn and Hand, and Broken Blade).
