Very sad, wasted my money.Follow

I just bought the collectors edition, installed it, started playing, and the game is so laggy, I cannot play, it takes litteraly 2 minutes before NPC's and people start showing up on my screen, I chose the lowest pop server, changed all my settings to the lowest possible, and it is still lagging horribly (and looks terrible needless to say)

I play on a new PC and the requirements are the same as Aion, and Aion worked perfectly on my computer.

I just wasted 80 bucks on the CE, and now I dont know what to do? Can I sell the package to someone?

I feel Ive been duped. Very frustrating.

Not only do you not know how roman numerals work, you also have know idea how computers work. Aion and FFXIV aren't even close in terms of system requirements.

Obnoxious much? A simple answer would have been ok.

My game loads slowly, too, but it's great after the first couple of minutes. It requires a pretty new PC, but I don't see anything to imply that it's over laggy or too straining on the computer.

To know is to have knowledge.

To say no means to have none or zero.

Where the heck did my post go from this thread that was moved from the 11 forum that directed how to read roman numerals. I go to click it in my posts and tells me I do not have permission to see my own post.

Well just in case the post does not some how magically re-appear and this thread state it was a moved thread, here ya go How to read roman numerals.

If having an issue with card rejected, make sure your noscript is allowing globalcollect site gcsip.com as that is where transaction is routed when I updated.

You can either wait for people to spread out to improve lag, wait for SE to get better servers, or wait a year or two for things to get better. Either way you have no choice but to eat the 80$ loss.

OP post your system specs.

also there's a ton of things you can do to improve the game, defrag, remove unwanted programmes, background programmes.

mine take ages for npc`s to load up and yes its laggy sometimes but the game is excellent and worth giving it some time.

is this caused by a bad internet conncection to the servers og bad graphics performance?

if it's a server problem I think it could improve in the coming days/weeks as SE updates the servers/game...

I could go to PC World today and buy a PC that would struggle to run LoTRO or WoW or FFXI age is irrelevant, whats in the system is what counts. If you post your PC's specifications people might be able to tell you why your PC seems unable to run it. It could be simple like drivers it could require something upgrading.

Update your drivers, 99% of everyones problem is that there not updating there video card drivers.

P.S. by everyone I mean people who what bought pc's that have the required specs and 99% is a hugh exaggeration but many many people don't update drivers and have game issues like described by this guy. But then again I could be full of ****.

Oh, bite me. I was typing on a cell phone at four in the morning, sh*t happens. My point still stands, FFXIV, and Aion are worlds apart in their system requirements. He came in and first posted in the wrong forum and then went on to whine about not being able to run a game, and how he felt duped. The system specs are right on the side of the box, and are easily found online. Not being able run the game is nothing but his own fault. His victim mentality disgusts me.
