Online sale to FFIXV by SEFollow

Hello,

I was wondering if SE will sale the game online on their site? Cause I'm not sure when they will have it around in Qatar.
And if they have it which region it will be. Cause I'm from North America and they will probably have Europe Region around here.

Other question,

1. Can I register Europe game on my account as a NA account and move back to my own country and be able to play?
2. Do I need someone to send me the NA version to me and install it as a NA version?

Thanks for your time!

I'm pretty sure that FFXIV is region coded, meaning that an EU version would not work in an NA region.

Other than that, there has been no mention of online sale of the game -- the standard edition isn't even out in hardcopy yet! I live in Canada, and if you wanted to set something up where I buy a copy for you and ship it to Qatar, I could... but I don't know how much the shipping would be; depending upon your income, it might not be worth it!

Good question... unfortunately, I don't know how internet works in Qatar, so I have no idea; you'd certainly be able to play in both Canada and the US.

To the best of my knowledge, the answer is yes and yes. Just make sure your client and your SE account region are the same. They have an open server policy, they don't care where u connect from.

if it is same as FFXI:

you CANNOT use any code from the region other than the one your account belong to.
this is a solid fact.

you can play from wherever you like after registration.

your client NEED NOT to be the same region

again, above is the case of FFXI

Yeah you're right, I forgot that all languages are included in the client, making it universal (pick language from the installer and then from what I read on Lodestone you can even change it later if you like). The code that comes with your client is region specific however, and can only be used once; so make sure it matches your SE account region.

LAUNCH THE INSTALLER
Insert the FINAL FANTASY XIV disc and wait for the language selection screen to appear. Now select the language for the installer (please note that this will also set the in-game language, but you can change this setting at any time using the config tool).

Just to give some feed back on what I was asking,

I ask someone to send me a NA Cd-Key of the game he bought for me and found a ISO image on the net and installed it with the NA CD-Key, updated and now I can play in Qatar with my North America version of the game.

I'm using an NA version and account in the UK. I think it's based off of your billing address not your physical location.
