Hey, just tossing this out there since I seem to be running in to a fair number of people who don't realize this. When you start the materials-provided levequests you get enough materials for 2 extra attempts.

If you succeed on every crafting attempt, you can still use those two free attempts for extra skill and xp.

I.E. if quest asks for 2 hats, gives you mats for 4, you can make all 4, get xp and skill for all 4 and, though it does take all 4 during the quest turn in, the mats were free anyways.

Free xp!

To add to this, the mat value goes up as well so your turn-in reward goes up.

Thank you for sharing it.

Adding a bit more to it.

The NPC that repair equipment in your town will provide any crafting support (although just common level) if you ask to use the facilities while equipping the correct tool, this is specially important if you are attempting a levequest higher than your current level and the guild is not in your city.

There is also an NPC at each camp who will provide common level support for all crafts.
