Why does it still say I have heavy gear damage when the NPC repair everything?

EVERYTHING can take damage. Come on! We have to repair our undergarments on a regular basis! :)

I have the same problem. It's disturbing to find that I have 1 point of durability left on my loincloth :x. Seriously, with that much left on it, I'm probably just wearing something that should resemble used dental floss.

That makes me wonder if I should carry several pairs and change them out. Like in RL, I HOPE people have more than one pair of underwear.

I thought SE was being nice in letting us have 80 inventory slots by default... Now I know why...

Yeah, we really aren't that much better off. They promote cross-class leveling, yet you need at least an item or 2 just to cover the basics of a class change. I'm sure later on, other gear sets will take up space if not already. I can see I'll have a couple of Retainers just to start with...

I can't even repair my undergarments. The game won't let me unequip them to repair and it won't highlight the repair button with them equipped. Fun times.

Just found out that if you have heavy damage to feet then you walk/run extremely slow. If you have heavy damage to your hands then it pretty much ignores your stamina bar....you're gonna be swinging slower than a motherfuc@#r. Learned this all the hard way.

You should always wear clean underwear whenever you go out into the field in case you get run over by a goobbue.

I'm having this same issue, except I have nothing on except 3 pieces of gear: the 2 undergarment pieces and a mining pick, all of which are at 75% durability and I still see heavy gear damage. No accessories equipped either. I don't understand how I'm still under heavy gear damage?

You thought wrong. *Everything* damages. And the NPC won't fix accessories.

Buy a second set for the vendor NPC (it's cheap) so you can change, or else have the repair NPC do it.

Gotta love a game that encourages you to keep a change of underwear handy.

Double check that that's the case and then call a GM, because that definitely sounds like a bug.
