I just started a quest which I had already done 2 days ago "Get to the Copper", literally ran towards the waypoint to mine for the quest, about half way there (3 minutes in) my character stops and I get the message "Get to the copper" aborted in the middle of my screen, did I do something wrong or am I missing something? I already did this guildleve and didn't have any issues the last time, could this be a bug?

Not sure about this, but I'm going to guess it has something to do with you changing classes after starting the leve.

I'm trying to find anything confirming the class changing hunch, because that's what I first thought after seeing your chatlog. Haven't found anything, though.

Every guildleve I have done successfully I have changed class after accepting, including the one I'm doing now and didn't have problems, it's gotta be a random bug right?

I was doing a Botany leve and I was still on Conjurer so I buffed myself then switch to Botanist and even harvested random spots on the way to the destination and no fail.

So it seems like a sporadic bug.

On a somewhat related note... Is that quest name seriously a play on the Arnold quote from Predators: GET GO THE CHOPPA!!!(?) :P

Yeah, a lot of leves are. I think a couple tools are as well.

I have this exact same issue when I try to complete the quest. It's not sporadic for me; it happens at the same place every time, en route to the second (IIRC) mining point.

My guess is that the issue comes from some sort of bad coding that's telling the game that you went out of bounds on the leve, even though you're going towards one of the mining points in the only logical direction to reach it. For me, the leve aborts whenever I try to go around a terrain feature to get into a cave where one of the mining spots appears to be. The cave is still in-zone, and only has one entrance. The leve aborts before I even make it to the cave entrance, anyway.

Another bug I'm finding on guildleve is cavernulos coblyn, I killed 4, died twice now when I run to the marked spot there are none to kill, been running around for 10 mins and still cannot find any , did I cause another bug by dying twice? Has this happened to anyone else?

My favorite reference so far, was an NPC name Immodest Mouse. Love that band.

On topic: I have that leve in my list, I will try and replicate your actions and see if it's borked.

Pop culture references? In MY Final Fantasy game?

This game is not really very Final Fantasy-esque, unless FFXI was also like this.

Might they be in a cave or otherwise underground? I know I had that problem with a leve in closed beta. Two of the Wingrats I needed to kill were in a cave, so the dots don't show up on the minimap unless you're in said cave.
