A few things I will say:

The red lettering looks odd to me.

Very bulky looking with the large size font and all caps.

The drop down menus are a lot better now!

When you say your "working on a darker background" how dark do you mean? Like white font on black dark? I worry it would contrast too much with a lot of the sites I visit and bother my eyes.

When I mouse-over an ingredient for a recipe, the pop-up opens to the right and then flicks back to the left when it notices it has gone past my monitors boarder. It is fine with the armor/weapons browsing since they are along the left, but is kind of annoying when looking through ingredients for recipes.

Thanks for the feedback, Rayne. We'll take a look at the ingredients complaint.

For the dark background, it probably won't be white on black. We're still working on it, but it should be a nice combination of colors.

Can we go back to the old, blue FFXI Allakhazam skin? Most functional, less clunky, white backgrounds are bad on the eyes for extended viewing.

Also, everyone knows that =60 is more dangerous than the OoT and Asylum combined. People have gone mad in here. The admins need to come back everyday to make sure that we haven't put a hole in the internets, or x/0, or something like that.

The ingredient/item pop ups are pretty nicely done.

But I have to point out that, for a quite a lot of people, it means learning to see what the items look like. As of now, this is a rather steep learning curve. The old interface just showed linked text, which I find is a lot easier to locate.

I'm an FFXI online player for about 5 years, and even then, I still treasure text much more than looks as it makes my life easier. I can see straight away when I read, rather than do a mouseover on each ingredient icon.

This is a definite problem that we are going to fix soon. It is not so much a problem of learning what items look like, but that icons are reused so much you never know what it is until you mouse over it.

The only issue I have with the new look in with the Database. If I for instance go to Abilities then move the mouse down to the 1st text box to type my search the little arrow between the Database and Abilities header (similar to the forum breadcrumb) drops down a database list in front of the text box. Numerous times I accidentally clicked on a new database when all I wanted to do was search an ability :)

Other than that minor interface issue I think it look very clean and Professional :) keep up the good work guys

Firefox and here are the list of add-ons I use here at work. The only one that could cause anything I would think is firebug but it's currently not active. (meaning I don't make use of it while on zam)

Firebug
xmarks (until the first of the year)
logmein remote access plugin
.net framework

Firebug would only change things until a refresh. I can't find a way to replicate that issue, but it looks like it could be a result of something like Greasemonkey. Not sure what could be causing the issue for you among those addons though.
