Just a few Questions...Follow

#1 Sep 29 2010 at 11:49 PM Rating: Decent
Just started playing.... I'm having fun so far but get frustrated and lost sometimes. I want to get to the story mode missions but have no clue where to find them... I've finished the first one called "Souls Gone Wild" @ Grinidar or whatever that down is called. Then i finished the tutorial levequests at Bentbranch and the lvl 10 levequests and Green Moss along with a bunch of Alchemy and Carpentry levels.... So here are the Questions I have so far:

- Where do i go to continue the story missions?
- How do i join the Conjurers Guild?
- Where can i get that Chemicking Training book or whatever it is?
- Where can i get the materials do repair my equipment?
- Does joining with a larger group give me more or a reward on levequests?

Wow i think thats it so far... sorry about rambling on and thanks for the help :p

You can continue the main quest when you hit lvl 15 in a job, as I understand it.

I'm not sure about how to join guilds, but you can take guild quests at lvl 20, I think >.<

You buy the training books with guild marks, which are obtained from guild quests.

Most of the mats required to repair lower level items are available from an npc vendor somewhere. The others are sold on player bazaars or crafted by yourself.

Choosing a harder difficulty for the leve gives a better reward, so yes, a larger group can help.

Nkari, you were mostly right, but I need to tweak a couple of your answers for accuracy.

You get the second part of the storyline when you hit rank 10 on a class. Go talk to the main person (whoever gave you the NPC linkpearl) on that job to start it. The third part of the storyline you get at rank 15. Guild marks can be obtained as rewards in rank 20+ levequests. As for the large groups, this can be a double-edged sword. A higher difficulty will get you a few hundred extra gil, but having too many people helping in the leve means you won't get as many skill points for your rank. If you only care about the reward, then go for it, but my personal opinion is that it's better to do leves solo if you're trying to rank up. The trick is deciding what is the best difficulty to choose.

Thanks nkari for your help

But I'm concerned with one other thing.... I was tyring to put my conjuring staff up for repair my a local player and now i can't seem to find it in my inventory. How do i get it back or how do i get another one?
