You mean a timer that tells you when leves reset? God god, you really need that? It's 36 hours so whenever they reset for you it's always AM/PM switching. Currently hey reset:

Reset at 8am EST
Reset at 8pm EST
Reset at 8am EST
Reset at 8pm EST
Reset at 8am EST
Reset at 8pm EST
Reset at 8am EST
...

Yes, because I (and im sure I am not alone) have no clue when they reset last. So a small timer app would be very useful for a lot of people.

It will not change. Server reset, maintenance or anything else will not change the leve timer. It's always going to be like this. The same as in FF11 in which some of these timers are running exactly the same for 10 years.

You don't need an app.

Bookmark that page. The levelquest timer is displayed on the right hand toolbar.

Eorzea clock (search the market for ffxiv and you should see it) should have it in a few days (or you can donate $2 for the paid version and get new features updates slightly earlier).

Kindjal, unless I missed something, the next reset is at 8 pm tonight, and since it's 36 hours, it not just "AM/PM" switching, as they won't reset every day. After they reset at x PM, they won't reset at all the next day. And if you happen to miss a few days and didn't write things down ahead of time, or didn't know the time of any reset in the first place, it's good to have somewhere to find out the info (think of it like an NM ToD: Yeah, you could camp it for a week to find out, but it's easier if someone can remind you ;) )

Ok, so let me understand this please. I thought the clock starts upon finishing the leve. So am I to understand there is just a set standard time for resets? Is this correct? Thanks!

Correct.

Another important note: Leve *aquisition* resets every 36 hours. As long as you've signed up for your leves before the reset, you're good. You can finish those leves after the reset, and then go get new leves for the current "window".

Yes, it's a server reset (if you played XI, think of it as the Sunday morning reset). Happens every 36 hours. If you have a logitech g-series keyboard, my app (in my sig) will calculate it for you and display a countdown.
