Am I the only person experiencing door lag where a door will not open until you stand there for 10-20 seconds on occasions? I don't see what was wrong with the old method of clicking the door to open it.

Nope happens to me too often in Ul'Whatever. Thank god there's not many doors in the Grid.

Also happened to me too recently. I thought maybe it was just a door that wasn't supposed to open, till I started running away and heard it open behind me.

Sometimes going to a guild, the door will not open even after minutes have gone by.

I didn't know there was another thread about it or I wouldn't have bothered posting about it.

SE does this by design.. they started doing it in newer expansions on FFXI.... its to prevent the area from getting to lagged..

That sounds like the best solution to me. Coming in at a close second would be to provide the correct amount of acceptable servers to handle the amount of players on each. It was a close call, for sure.

Not just you. But the doors that don't like to open only happen in Ul'dah's adventure guild. One time I was trap inside and wasn't able to get out because those **** doors won't open :P ALL 3 OF THEM!

You need to say

"Open Sesame!"

Works for me anyway.
